Monday Night RAW is almost upon us once more. At this point, the weeks fly by faster than a three hour RAW (though we keep coming back for more). However, RAW has plenty to offer this week, including a blockbuster triple threat match to determine the number one contender for Drew McIntyre‘s WWE Championship. In addition to that, we also have an interesting A Moment of Bliss segment scheduled. Let’s take a look!
Randy Orton To Appear On A Moment of Bliss
Randy Orton will be appearing on this week’s A Moment of Bliss segment. Just last week, The Fiend cost Randy Orton his match against AJ Styles – which subsequently cost him his chance to appear in this week’s number one contender triple threat match. Between blood feuds with Edge and McIntyre this year, now with the addition of a feud with The Fiend, things haven’t been too rosy for ol’ Randy in 2020. Of course, the feud with Bray Wyatt dates back years – culminating with Orton burning down the Wyatt Family Compound (and Sister Abigail with it) in 2017. This has led to speculation that Randy Orton unintentionally caused The Fiend character, who preys upon those who wronged Wyatt. Well, no one has wronged Bray more than Randy Orton, so it’s time to meet the maker. But first, A Moment of Bliss this Monday.
Triple Threat Number One Contender Match: Keith Lee vs Riddle vs AJ Styles
This could prove to be a high octane, fun match which does well to make the eventual winner look like a genuine contender for Drew McIntyre. Keith Lee, Riddle and AJ Styles are three of the most talented men in the company today. The experience and ability of Styles, plus the brute strength and talent of Lee and the technical style of Riddle could make for quite the match-up. RAW – and the WWE as a whole – desperately needs to start turning guys like Riddle and Keith Lee into the stars they are supposed to be. Keith Lee especially has been criminally underutilized since jumping up to RAW just a few months ago. Now is the time to let Lee – and Riddle too – show what they are capable of. There is no better dance partner to help this process than AJ Styles, who just might win the match. Expect a very enjoyable match.
Not Announced But Expected on Monday Night RAW:
– What happens next with Adam Pearce and Braun Strowman?
– The Hurt Business have failed to get the job done against New Day twice now. What’s next?
– Last week gave us the team of Lana and Asuka and they beat the Women’s Tag Team Champions. Is a title shot looming?
RAW has been improving as of late – hopefully Monday continues the upward trend. Drew McIntyre is a tremendous face and has been a breath of fresh air as WWE Champion throughout 2020, so it will be fun to see him feud with someone different. This Monday determines the next feud, so there is plenty to be excited about. Tune into Monday Night RAW, this Monday at 8/7c on USA Network to catch the action.
