The deathmatch community was rocked on November 21 with the news that Colt 45, an 11-year veteran of the deathmatch scene, had tragically passed away. No cause of death has been announced publicly, but the wrestler from Wheeling, West Virginia was only 29 years old.

Over the past decade, Colt 45 has worked for various hardcore and/or deathmatch promotions, including Vicious Outcast Wrestling (VOW) in his native West Virginia, North Carolina’s Milestone Wrestling, New Jersey’s On Point Wrestling (OPW), Tennessee’s Total Psychopathic Wrestling (TPW), and Pro Wrestling Georgia, and was on the rise as one to watch in the scene.
Fans and friends from the deathmatch scene shared their love for the late wrestler on Social Media, as the world of pro wrestling mourns another person who has died far too young.

This was a fucking epic death match. Akira has had an incredible year. Colt 45 had the match of his career here. Everything about this situation is just sad though.
