Chie Koishikawa to Work With Gatoh Move Full-Time

On episode fifty-one of ChocoPro, Chie Koishikawa teamed with Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling founder Emi Sakura to take on the duo of Tokiko Kirihara and Lulu Pencil. The match concluded when the energetic Koishikawa was caught in a roll-up pin by Kirihara. However, this episode would end on a positive note for Koishikawa. During the show’s janken tournament, she made the announcement that, moving forward, she would be working with Gatoh Move on a full-time basis.

Koishikawa expressed interest in working all shows for Gatoh Move. As a result, she quit her job outside of the promotion. To her, she wouldn’t be able to reach the heights she desired if she could only commit a limited amount of time to wrestling. In addition to working all future ChocoPro shows, Koishikawa will participate full-time in the promotion’s dojo. Expect more of her undeniable charisma, developing wrestling style, and trademark boundless energy on ChocoPro and in Gatoh Move at large.

Chie Koishikawa began her professional wrestling career in mid-to-late 2019; prior to wrestling, she trained in fencing, a sport that she incorporated into her wrestling style. In wrestling, she entered Gatoh Move in the same class of rookies as Rin Rin, Sayaka, Sayuri, Tokiko Kirihara, and Lulu Pencil. She made her official debut for Gatoh Move in the summer in a match against joshi veteran Sayaka Obihiro. She would also work with Gatoh Move stalwarts Yuna Mizumori and Mitsuru Konno, in addition to Japanese wrestling veterans including TAMURA and Antonio Honda.

Koishikawa made her ChocoPro debut at the beginning of this month. Keep in mind that she had been away from wrestling since this past March. She entered ChocoPro, first appearing on episode forty-four, with even more energy than before. She wrestled most of her matches against Sakura and Mei Suruga, both of whom trained her. Now that Koishikawa is a full-time member of Gatoh Move, her infectious exuberance will be that much greater.
