We’re heading towards another WWE Pay Per View which means it’s time once again to analyze some betting odds for the event. A smart fan will see an opportunity to win some money be it with Draftkings, the unmatched kings of Colorado online betting, or any other major organization. Let’s get right into the odds for Extreme Rules: The Horror Show! Given this is the first pay per view under the full Bruce Pritchard regime expect changes aplenty as Pritchard gets his stories in place and his rosters in order.
Smackdown Women’s Championship – Bayley vs Nikki Cross
One of the three bouts with odds available is the blue brand’s bout between record-breaking champion Bayley and her adversary Nikki Cross. The two have been doing battle over the Women’s Tag Team Championships for the past few months with Bayley and Sasha Banks actually dethroning Cross and her tag partner Alexa Bliss. Given the short build to this match, it should come at no surprise that Bayley is the betting favorite to come away with the win as the 1/5 favourite. A risky bet on Cross has odds of 10/3 but is an unlikely outcome.
Raw Women’s Championship – Asuka vs Sasha Banks
Another women’s match with betting odds available is the red brand’s clash between Asuka and “The Boss” Sasha Banks. This cross-brand match sees tag team champion and SmackDown superstar Banks take on the fearsome Asuka. Asuka is currently the favorite to defend her championship at 4/9 odds but this match really could go either way so a bet on Banks to pull out the win at 13/8 wouldn’t be the worst risk to take as WWE will no doubt look to push Banks and Bayley in the absence of fellow Four Horsewomen Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Banks also has her eyes set on NXT as she has an upcoming dream match against NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai set for NXT: The Great American Bash Night 1
WWE Championship – Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler
A clash of former tag team partners as the babyface McIntyre defends against the egotistical Ziggler. Since dethroning Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 the Scottish McIntyre has taken on all comers and shown himself to be a real fighting champion defending against names like The Big Show and Bobby Lashley. The odds are currently heavily in the favor of McIntyre to defend his gold at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show at 1/20. Ziggler is 8/1 to pull off the upset. Given the circumstances of the match it is very unlikely we see Mcintyre dethroned by his former partner.
So far odds are only available for those three matches and almost each one has a very clear winner. As the card for Extreme Rules: The Horror Show comes together we will no doubt get more unpredictable matches with e greater opportunity to make money presenting itself to WWE fans who love to bet on the product. Based on current storylines we may see many more matches added like an Intercontinental Championship clash between AJ Styles and Matt Riddle, a United States Championship match between Apollo Crews and either MVP or his client Bobby Lashley. The tag team divisions are also heating up as the Street Profits of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins look set to clash with Zelina Vega and her team of Andrade and Angel Garza while on SmackDown the New Day team of Kofi Kingston and Big E are likely to defend against Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. We will also see the already announced, with no odds yet available, swamp match between “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman and the revived Bray Wyatt. Strowman is sure to walk out as winner so smart betters may put on on the big man to win if the odds are worth it.
