Following the news that WWE would be holding a meeting regarding the future of NXT UK and the talent on the roster who have been singled out in part of the #SpeakingOut movement on social media, WWE has officially made some actions regarding the talent. According to PWInsider, Joe Coffey, wrestler and leader of the faction GALLUS, has been suspended indefinitely while PWInsider and Pro Wrestling Sheet report two referees — Joel Allen and Chris Roberts — have been released by the company following the allegations towards them.
Coffey’s status with the company should become more clear in the coming weeks as the suspension could be a move by the company to further investigate the allegations towards the NXT UK star.

The GALLUS leader signed with the WWE following his appearance in the second NXT UK tournament in 2018.
Since then, he has main evented two of the three NXT UK TakeOver events, Blackpool I and II, for the NXT UK Championship against Pete Dunne and WALTER. Coffey has been a featured competitor of the brand, but his future with the company is uncertain.
Both Allen and Roberts had been referees since the brand was created in 2018. The suspension and releases follow the releases of Travis Banks, Ligero, and 205 Live’s Jack Gallagher in the past couple of weeks.
NXT UK is rumored to remain a brand despite the allegations to a multitude of its wrestlers. Be sure to stay tuned for more on anything regarding the brand.
