Kylie Rae has been a star in the US indie scene since breaking into the industry in 2016. A student of 2x WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Reality of Wrestling (ROW) in Houston, Texas, the Chicago native returned home to become a star in the strong Midwest territories, such as hometown promotions like AAW Pro, Freelance Wrestling, and Warrior Wrestling, as well as Beyond Wrestling, Black Label Pro, RISE Wrestling, Bar Wrestling, and much more. She’s the current reigning BLP Midwest Champion and 2x Freelance World Champion, as well as a former 2x Zelo Pro Women’s Champion, Phoenix of RISE Champion, AAW Pro Women’s Champion, and 3x ROW Diamond Champion.
Her meteoric ascent in the US indie scene did not go unnoticed, and in early 2019, she was one of the first women announced for AEW’s women’s division. She made one appearance with AEW, in a Fatal Four-Way at AEW Double or Nothing with Dr. Britt Baker, Awesome Kong, and Nyla Rose and seemed destined to be one of the company’s top faces in the women’s division. But shortly after her AEW debut, she departed the company in a mutual release.
She returned to the US indies where she picked up where she left off, and it wasn’t soon before she would begin to make guest appearances with IMPACT Wrestling, beginning with the Twitch special, IMPACT All Glory on October 19, 2019. She appeared the next night at Bound for Glory in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet as well, both held in Chicago. It appears that both sides liked what they saw from their first encounters, as it looks like Kylie Rae will now join one of the strongest women’s divisions in pro wrestling with an IMPACT Knockouts locker room that includes IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard, Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, Madison Rayne, Su Yung, Keira Hogan, Jessicka Havok, and Tenille Dashwood.
