Yesterday, we listed a roster of 32 names that were either confirmed by the WWE, Jim Ross or via WWE medical clearances. While this would equal the exact number of entrants for the Mae Young Classic, there is still room for another 5 names as the tournament needs injury alternates.
Today, PWInsider reported that two of the names that most fans are most intrigued for – Candice LeRae and Mia Yim – cleared their WWE Medicals and will now be partaking in the tournament.
Also, Rip Rogers tweeted this photo today, showing Canadian indie star Nicole Matthews alongside Mae Young competitors “Alpha Female” Jazzy Gabert and Deonna Purrazzo, speculating she’s either in the tournament or at least an alternate.
