The NXT UK superstar has made PROGRESS one of his home promotions in recent times and continues to deliver exciting matches regardless of the opponent. His performances on the indies are keeping his momentum and profile high whilst he continues to spend time in the NXT UK midcard.
Ilja Dragunov’s run in wXw proved that he could be a star of the highest calibre where he won the 16 Carat Gold tournament in 2017 and became one of the most popular champion’s in company history. A similar run in PROGRESS would be met with a good reception and could catapult him back the talk of European wrestling. Regardless of the opponent, he is sure to deliver and be one of the standouts of the tournament.
