Based on the comments of Charlotte Flair on Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live and some recent reports, it looks like we may get an inter-generational dream match in the WWE Women’s Division. On Tuesday night, Charlotte Flair was appalled that she had no match booked for SummerSlam in Toronto, despite being the greatest WWE women’s superstar “all of eras”. This has led to speculation of Canadian Superstar Trish Stratus returning to the ring.
Following SmackDown Live going off the air, Charlotte went online to her Twitter to change her Twitter handle to “Queen of ALL ERAS”.

Let’s recap. Charlotte Flair, who is an 8x WWE Women’s Champion, just declared she wants a match at SummerSlam in Toronto, to prove she’s the Queen of “ALL ERAS”. Sure seems like a challenge that Trish Stratus, who not only lives in Toronto but recently had her 7x Women’s Champion record broken by Charlotte, may want to respond to.
And now, in a report from Ryan Satin’s Pro Wrestling Sheet, it appears that Trish Stratus has indeed been in discussions with WWE about a match in her hometown.
