This event will be the first ever all women’s event in Western Australia. And is also the longest running women’s tournament in all of Australian wrestling.

Throughout the weekend there will be a mixture of tournament and non-tournament matches as the ladies look to determine the best of the best.

During night one of NHPW Global Conflict the audience can expect to see some incredible matches which will pit Australia’s finest against the top international stars.

Jessica Troy vs Nicole Savoy

Over the course of the last 12 months, Australia’s Jessica Troy has been generating a significant buzz. This buzz has come thanks to fantastic matches with the likes of Toni Storm, Kellyanne and Millie McKenzie. This weekend she will be looking to ride her wave of momentum as she steps into the ring against Nicole Savoy in the first round of the tournament.

Savoy is currently the SHIMMER Champion, distinguishing her as one of, if not the best female wrestler today. Many people may also recognize Savoy’s name from her appearance in WWE’s Mae Young Classic, tournament wrestling experience which may be a big advantage this weekend.

Lena Kross vs Tarlee

The homegrown hero Lena Kross will be aiming to prove that whilst Perth pro wrestling may not be as widely spoken about as its east coast counterpart it is just as good. In recent weeks Kross has been building her reputation interstate, competing for MCW’s G.IRL Women’s Wrestling against Aussie standout Kellyanne. If Kross is able to keep the Darryl Mitai Shield in the west she will cement herself in the upper echelon of female Australian wrestlers.

Standing in the way of Kross though will be fiery Tarlee. Having trained at The Black & Brave wrestling academy under WWE’s Seth Rollins and his partner Marek Brave this woman is certainly one to watch out.

Tarlee has been working all over Australia, from Queensland to NSW and Victoria. Everywhere she goes Tarlee is a standout, and very well could be the surprise Cinderella story of this tournament.

Saraya Knight vs Casey Johns

When the brackets were announced South Australia’s Casey Johns may have been regretting throwing her hat into the ring. Unfortunately for Johns her first round opponent is none other than the legendary Saraya Knight.

Knight is veteran of the wrestling industry and is never one to back down from a fight. Expect Knight to brutalize anybody who stands in between her and the Darryl Mitai Shield.

Leia Elise vs Steph De Lander

Hailing from the UK is the promising young talent Leia Elise, who will be making her Australian debut in the tournament. Unfortunately, she has a very stiff challenge standing in way if she hopes to make a major impact here.

Looking to halt the young Brits momentum will be Australian standout Steph De Lander, who has been making major waves since unmasking and leaving her FaceBrooke persona behind. The ‘Python Powerhouse’ is brimming with confidence after being on a lengthy undefeated streak since returning from injury.

Rosa Leigh & Azalea vs Izzy Shaw & Jasmin Vittora

Outside of the tournament matches Perth wrestling fans are also set to see some fantastic tag team action, featuring three debutants.

Hometown girl Rosa Leigh will team up with Azalea for the first time ever when they face off against Izzy Shaw and Jasmine Vittora.

With these ladies not competing in the tournament, they will be looking to steal the show with an outstanding matchup. So look for this to be a highlight of the night’s proceedings.

Lastly, also set to appear is the current IndyGurlz Australia Champion Mercedes Martinez. Original plans had Martinez defending her title against Melbourne’s Avary but unfortunately due to injury Avary will no longer be able to compete. So, who will step up to challenge the dominant Martinez at NHPW Global Conflict?
