WWE SNME Predictions are here on the road to the Clash in Italy, which will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 23, 2026. We have a couple of star-studded matches, with two of them being the top prize in WWE. Here are the WWE SNME XLIV Fort Wayne Predictions to kick off Memorial Day Weekend.
WWE SNME Predictions (5/23/26)
Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Irresistible Forces – Women’s Tag Team Title Match
The real question here is: Why are Irresistible Forces getting a tag title rematch? After losing the tag titles at WrestleMania 42 to Paige and Brie Bella, Nia Jax and Lash Legend already invoked their rematch clause on the May 1, 2026 episode of SmackDown. Granted, that match had a controversial finish, but they still lost via pinfall.
In the world of pro wrestling, a loss is a loss whether it is controversial or not, so Irresistible Forces should have gotten to the back of the line for a title opportunity, or focused on a singles run for rising star Lash Legend. Nonetheless, it is unlikely that Paige and Brie drop the titles back to the same heel team they dethroned.
There are other strong heel teams like Judgment Day and Fatal Influence in the division. They will interfere in this match with a potential babyface save from Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, who got involved after the tag title match between Paige and Brie Bella and Judgment Day on Raw this week.
While that would set up a fatal four-way tag title match at Clash in Italy, Nikki Bella will be the key interference and deciding factor in this match, as she will return from injury to help Paige and Brie Bella retain the titles. If WWE is going to repeat this tag title match, they need an angle to juice it up, and Nikki Bella is unfortunately the answer to those prayers.
Prediction: Paige & Brie Bella
Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page – InterContinental Title
It is way too soon for Ethan Page to win the Intercontinental Title, as he has only been on the main roster for a month. Granted, he is a generic heel who can nefariously bypass the hard work and “slow burn” journeys to get what he wants.
However, Penta just won the InterContinental Title from Dominik Mysterio in March and had a historic title defense in a six-man Ladder Match at WrestleMania 42. It would be smarter to continue solidifying his reign. A heel interference from Rusev and a babyface save from Je’Von Evans is likely due to their involvement in the title picture on Raw. This should set up a fatal four-way mid-card title match at Clash in Italy.
