Why is Seth Rollins Still Going After The Vision?

Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins started the Vision with a plan to take over WWE after Heyman betrayed CM Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. Adding Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed further solidified their goal as they won key matches that made them a top faction.

However, things weren’t good internally among the members, as everyone thought. On October 13, 2025, on the episode of Raw, Breakker and Reed betrayed Rollins, who had missed several months out of action.

He later returned at the Elimination Chamber after the group added Austin Theory and Logan Paul. At Backlash, Breakker took care of him pretty easily in a quick match.

However, he’s still targeting the faction even after the defeat. He beat Theory last Monday and conspired with the Street Profits, whom they’ve also been feuding with, this week. The feud should be over, but he keeps coming back. There are a few reasons as to why Rollins isn’t quite ready to leave the Vision behind him.

Rollins Wants the Whole Faction Fully Healthy

The one thing that many people sadly associate the Vision with is injuries. Rollins was injured for months after Crown Jewel, as the betrayal gave him time to heal from shoulder surgery.

During that time, Breakker and Reed were out for a while. Breakker returned at WrestleMania: Vegas, while Reed is yet to return. Now it’s been reported that Paul will be out for months after a torn tricep. It seems like Rollins wants the entire faction fully healthy in order to exact his revenge, but it can’t be done due to the faction’s revolving door of injuries.

When Reed comes back, his number one target will be him. Until the group is fully healthy, which could be months from now, Rollins will be forced to stall what should’ve happened months ago. No matter what WWE has planned for that, whether it is a gauntlet match or beating them all one by one, it’ll be a satisfying end to their story.

He Wants the World Tag Team Championships

If Rollins realizes that his goal of being everyone will be out of reach for months, he’ll move on to a more attainable goal. That’s exactly what he did on Monday. When he spoke to the Street Profits, they correctly stated that things always happen when he’s around. He specifically told Montez Ford, whom he beat later in the night, that the Vision must be destroyed. With Paul out, they used the Freebird rule to make Breakker World Tag Team Champion.

Significantly, those two things happened on the same night. Rollins wants revenge on them, especially Breakker. He could be a manager for the Street Profits, coaching them until they win the titles themselves. But knowing Rollins, he could injure one of them or cause a split. He then could take one of their spots and potentially win himself. Rollins always has a master plan in mind, and with his hatred of the Vision, he could do anything to get the win over them.

What are Rollins’ True Intentions?

Rollins may seem desperate to take the Vision out, but there are very good reasons as to why he wants that to happen. He created the faction with Heyman, who made incredible sacrifices. Punk and Reigns considered him more than a friend, and they got betrayed at WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest PLE of the year. Rollins also elevated Breakker and Reed into wrestlers who are intimidating to everyone they cross paths with.

But his thank you was an attack and expulsion from the faction that he created. That’s plenty of justification as to why he wants to get rid of all of them. Unfortunately, with their injuries, that could be months from now.

However, they do have the World Tag Team Championships, and he has two people willing to listen in the Street Profits. If he captures the titles from them, or Angelo Dawkins and Ford do it for him, his ultimate goal will be easier to accomplish when everyone is back.
