On Thursday night at Full Sail University in Florida, NXT had its next set of tapings and during the evening, former New Japan star and recent NXT signee KUSHIDA made his WWE debut by appearing in a match against Kassius Ohno. It marks the first match for the former 6x IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion has competed in a WWE ring and his first match against Kassius Ohno (including the latter’s career as Chris Hero).

The match should air in a couple of weeks and was a quick TV debut for the man whose contract signing was made official just prior to NXT TakeOver: New York last week (although in reality, he had signed weeks prior).
