One of NXT UK’s latest signees and scheduled to debut on the show next Wednesday, Scottish indie star Kay Lee Ray defeated Nina Samuels to win the Pro Wrestling EVE Championship on Saturday night.

It was a huge win for someone who has arguably one of the toughest competitors for EVE the past few years, fighting Meiko Satomura, DASH Chisako, Mercedes Martinez, Toni Storm, Millie McKenzie, Emi Sakura, Killer Kelly, Kris Wolf and her best friend, Viper, as she’s fought to get a title shot. She’s been working for EVE since 2011 and has consistently been one of the all-time heroes. An amazing moment and deservedly so for one of the UK’s absolute best.
