#AndNEW: Bobby Gunns Wins wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship

Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) is currently enjoying its annual 16 Carat weekend, with some huge developments already coming out of a surprise appearance from WWE‘s Alexander Wolfe and The Aussie Open capturing the wXw Tag Team Championships following the promotion debut of SCHADENFREUDE. Another title has now changed hands as Bobby Gunns has captured the Unified World Wrestling Championship from Absolute Andy, ending Andy’s reign at 217 days.

This marks Bobby’s first reign with the top championship of the company, although he is a former wXw Shotgun Champion, a title he held for 224 days. While in possession of that championship, Gunns racked up victories over the likes of David Starr, Lucky Kid, Mark Davis, and TK Cooper, before losing the title to Marius Al-Ani at Shortcut to the Top event last August.

With this victory, Gunns now sits atop the throne of Germany’s biggest wrestling promotion.
