In the final showcase events of the Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix on Sunday, a day that had two shows – an afternoon matinee and then an evening show – saw the war between Mayu Iwatani‘s STARS group and Jungle Kyona‘s JAN stable continue, with them swapping titles over the course of both of Sunday’s events.

In the afternoon matinee, STARS trio of Mayu Iwatani, Saki Kashima and Tam Nakano defeated JAN’s squad of Jungle Kyona, Natsuka Tora & Kaori Yoneyama to win the Artist of Stardom Championship (Stardom’s trios titles), briefly giving STARS control of Stardom’s tag division, as Iwatani and Kashima were also the Goddesses of Stardom (Tag Team) Champions.

But that all changed on the evening show, when Iwatani & Kashima defended their Goddesses of Stardom titles against JAN’s Jungle Kyona and Natsuko Tora. But this time, JAN came out ahead, defeating the pair and bringing the Goddesses titles to JAN. It marks JAN’s second run with the titles.
