Bullet Club’s Firing Squad Recruiting Mission Heads to…NXT?

GOD and Haku

Over the past few weeks, the Firing Squad contingent of Bullet Club – lead by Tama Tonga alongside Bad Luck Fale and his brother Tanga Loa – have begun scouring the globe for new members of the Bullet Club to bring the stable back to its original mission statement from it’s 2013 debut of bringing chaos to the rings of New Japan Pro Wrestling. A few weeks back, they posted videos and Tweets asking for suggestions from fans on who to scout.

Last night Tanga Loa posted a video that he was out scouting for new members of Bullet Club, in a video shared by Tama Tonga that said he was “scouting the independent scene”.

Turns out, his scouting destination was last night’s NXT Live Event in Sanford, Florida.

Coincidentally, it was also the site of the NXT Live Event debut for former indie superstar Matt Riddle, who faced Fabian Aichner in his first match inside a WWE ring.

Don’t expect to see Matt Riddle joining Bullet Club though – or any of the NXT talent – as Tanga Loa was most likely visiting friends. Tanga Loa spent six years with WWE developmental, in both Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and NXT as Camacho, before joining his brother in New Japan to form the 3x IWGP Tag Team Champion duo Guerrillas of Destiny in 2016. But it’s still a fun angle to the story and adds intrigue into just who the Firing Squad are looking to bring in as the newest members of Bullet Club.
