#AndNEW: Johnny Blackcraft Wins Inaugural Blackcraft Championship

Tonight saw the first ever event by Blackcraft Wrestling (BCW)Burning Bridges, took place from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the company – formed by the Blackcraft Cult clothing company – put on a fun and entertaining show with a gothic vibe. It felt like an American occult version of Lucha Underground, complete with a crazed cult leader leading the show, a mysterious character named The Preacher, who welcomed “The Unbelievers” to join The Cult. And if the gentleman who portrayed The Preacher looked familiar, it’s actor Doug Bradley, best known for portraying Pinhead in the Hellraiser horror franchise.

In the main event, BCW crowned the inaugural Blackcraft Heavyweight Champion in a triple threat between UK’s “King of the Goths” Jimmy Havoc, Brody King and Johnny Blackcraft (the BCW alter ego of John Morrison, aka Johnny Mundo in LU and Johnny Impact in IMPACT Wrestling). In the end, Johnny Blackcraft overcame the odds to become the first ever BCW Heavyweight Champion.

BCW also crowned two more champions at Burning Bridges, with OvE (Dave & Jake Crist) winning the BCW Tag Team titles in a Fatal 4-Way with The Butcher & The Blade (Pepper Parks & Andy Williams), Youthinazia (Matt Cross & Josh Prohibition) and The Mane Event (Duke Davis & Ganon Jones Jr.), and Saraya Knight defeating Britt Baker to become the first BCW Women’s Champion (with a little help from her daughter, WWE Superstar Paige).
