At tonight’s CZW Best of the Best XVII, CZW World Heavyweight Champion Rickey Shane Page lost his title to CZW Wired Champion The MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman), making MJF a dual champion in the process. In a scene somewhat reminiscent of the infamous Submission Match at WrestleMania 13 between Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Page passed out in a pool of his own blood to MJF’s Fujiwara armbar, The Friedman Armbar Special, instead of submitting, causing the ref to stop the match and award the CZW World title to MJF. This is MJF’s first World title reign.
