#AndNEW: Moustache Mountain Crowned First Fight Club: PRO Tag Team Champions

At tonight’s final night for Fight Club: PRO (FCP)‘s Dream Tag Team Invitational in the UK, FCP finally crowned their inaugural FCP Tag Team Champions following a three day tournament that included some of the best tag teams in the world, such as The Briscoes, Penta El 0M & Rey Fenix, CCK, Matt Riddle & Jeff Cobb and more. Tonight, the finals came down to Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) versus Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis), the Australian duo who exploded onto the UK scene last year, with acclaimed outings with the likes of PROGRESS, RevPro and IPW:UK (amongst others). In the end, the veterans Moustache Mountain claimed the gold, when Tyler Bate finished off Kyle Fletcher with a Super Tyler Driver 97.

This marks the fourth promotion’s tag team titles that Moustache Mountain have held since their debut in 2015 as a team. In the past three years, Seven and Bate have held the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parajes, PROGRESS Tag Team Championships (twice) and the RevPro Undisputed British Tag Team Championships. The win came after Moustache Mountain established a new record in pro wrestling (along with Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy) when their 71-minute match became the longest traditional (two on two) tag team match in recorded history.
