It’s hard to find a week when WWE NXT didn’t have a good match card. Tonight is another week of matches that fans have been dying to see. The debut of Reina Volcan will take place. The NXT Championship will be on the line once again. We will see the battle of former tag team members. Along with another appearance in NXT from the “lowkey legend,” Natalya.

NXT Championship Street Fight
Tony D’Angelo and Naraku still have unsettled issues. Last week, they were battling in the ring again. Now, to keep them from breaking any rules, the two will compete in a street fight match tonight. Anything goes. Based on their previous interactions, they will tear each other apart. It will be a great match for the fans to watch, but a violent one for D’Angelo and Naraku.
What do these men have up their sleeves for the street fight? They have made it clear they will do anything to keep the gold; how far are they willing to go in this match? Who do you want to see walk out of NXT with the NXT Championship?
The Debut of Reina Volcan
Tonight, Reina Volcan will be making her in-ring debut on NXT. She will be competing against Skylar Raye. Volcan has a lot of momentum going into this match as she has been sending messages to the rest of the women’s roster over the last few weeks. On June 30, Volcan made her first appearance on NXT when she attacked Tatum Paxley in her match against Kelani Jordan. The following week on July 7, Volcan attacked NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey.
After these attacks, Volcan is finally set to make her in-ring debut tonight against Skylar Raye. Some fans are already familiar with Reina Volcan, as she is not new to the wrestling scene. Many may know her as Nikki Blackheart. She began training with Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) in 2024. Now, only two years later, she is making her NXT debut. This shows that she must be very talented and impressive to receive an opportunity with NXT so early in her career. When signing with WWE, she also became the first Dominican woman to be signed to the company.
It will be interesting to see what direction they have Volcan go in first. She first attacked the former NXT Women’s North American Champion, then would attack the current NXT Women’s Champion. It seems like her eyes are on the gold, like everyone else’s, but what will she do to take it?
