This week on WWE NXT, nearly everyone has their eyes on the gold. By the end of the night on July 7th, we will find out who the number one contenders are for both the NXT Tag Team Championships and the Women’s North American Championship.
Both Kendal Grey and Tony D’Angelo need to have eyes on the back of their head as they keep getting targeted outside of the ring by people who want the championship. D’Angelo was attacked by Naraku last week, but Mason Rook has been looking for an opportunity at the gold. Last week, Kendal Grey got taken out by Kali Armstrong when she was just at ringside. Armstrong would immediately go to Robert Stone regarding a championship match. He denied her the match because she needs to earn it. She is only one of many who want a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
Be sure to return for updates.

Kendal Grey came to NXT this past week with the gold and fans by her side. She defeated Lola Vice at Great American Bash for the NXT Women’s Championship, and next week she will have her first title defense. Many would assume it would be a rematch against Lola Vice; however, Natalya decided to be the first one to take that opportunity.
Nattie has been in NXT over the past few weeks because of Jaida Parker, but now it looks like she may have other reasons for being there. The lowkey legend is looking to capture a title she has never held before, and that’s the NXT Women’s Championship. She is a big name and has immense experience to be Kendal Grey’s first challenger. Will Kendal Grey step up and prove she has what it takes to be champion?
As I previously mentioned, we saw Kali Armstrong tell Robert Stone that she wants a championship match. I’m sure she will be watching Kendal Grey’s match next week. Do you think she will get involved? Will Kali Armstrong be Kendal Grey’s next championship defense?
