Here is the TNA Thursday Night iMPACT preview of the July 2, 2026, episode. With five matches and three segments, the Fallout from TNA Slammiversary is a crowded episode. is another step on the road to TNA Slammiversary. Sadly, I couldn’t write on anything TNA or NXT-related last week due to canicular reasons. So, let’s do a little rewind.
- Tommy Dreamer and Sami Callihan are no longer members of the TNA Creative team
- Aiden Prince and Eric Young are no longer members of the TNA roster
- TNA Wrestling re-signed Trey Miguel and signed back Allie
- At TNA Slammiversary, Nic Nemeth, the Hardys, Xia Brookside, and The Demon & The Bunny became Champions. Uhaa Nation (fka Apollo Crews) made his TNA debut. Also, the TNA Knockouts Television Championship was revealed; a tournament will determine the inaugural Champion (bracket below).
- Konnan and Amazing Red will join ODB in the TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026
- Joe Doering passed away
- TNA Destination X PLE will take place on November 15
As TNA Wrestling announced its full 2026 schedule of live events and PLEs, we know that we are now on a long road to Lethal Lockdown on August 23. That means many more reasons to watch Thursday Night iMPACT weekly on AMC (or TNA+). The weekly show is now reaching 200K+ people on TV, so let’s keep it this way.
Last night on NXT, there was no content related to TNA Wrestling. If all the TNA titles are now back home, the partnership is not done. Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. With that in mind, let’s now Nygma-dive into the episode.
BREAKING: The full bracket for the Knockouts Television Title tournament has been revealed – the tournament will play out over the coming weeks every Thursday on #TNAiMPACT and you can see the action first in Albany this Wednesday and Thursday!

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (7/2/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling
This week on TNA Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC, The Knockouts Television Championship Tournament begins as Allie faces Heather by Elegance and Mara Sadé takes on Tasha Steelz. Six stars are set to collide in a high-stakes X-Division No. 1 Contender’s Match. Plus, hear from the new TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside.
Allie and Heather by Elegance collide in a first-round Knockouts Television Championship Tournament match, with only one competitor advancing in the race to become the first-ever TNA Knockouts Television Champion.
Mara Sadé and Tasha Steelz square off in a first-round Knockouts Television Championship Tournament match, with the winner taking one step closer to becoming the first-ever TNA Knockouts Television Champion.
Rising star Leon Slater looks to score another statement victory, but standing in his way is Eddie Edwards, who is determined to prove he’s still one of TNA’s toughest competitors.

Ricky Sosa is set to address the TNA fans as one of the company’s fastest-rising stars looks to make his next move.
After weeks of rising tension, Ryan Nemeth and KC Navarro finally go one-on-one in a heated grudge match. Ryan Nemeth is determined to prove he is the one and only little brother.
Six X-Division standouts collide in a high-stakes No. 1 Contender’s Match, where Fabian Aichner, Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, Jason Hotch, and The Home Town Man battle for the next shot at the TNA X-Division Championship.
After settling the score with Léi Ying Lee at Slammiversary, TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside hits the iMPACT! Zone with her sights set on what comes next. Two-time TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth takes center stage this Thursday as he prepares for the next chapter of his championship reign.
Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (7/2/26) – The Nygma’s View
They Say
Nic Nemeth, Xia Brookside, and Ricky Sosa all have some things to say. Nic Nemeth dethroned Mike Santana to become a 2-time TNA World Champion, thanks to his brother Ryan Nemeth. He will “unzip” his mouth to tell us how happy he is… Nygma wants Mike Santana to appear and ask for a rematch.
Xia Brookside dethroned Léi Ying Lee to become TNA Knockouts World Champion for the first time. The rematch has already been announced for the Albany taping session, so Nygma can say Brookside won’t speak for too long.
Ricky Sosa defeated the TNA Legend Eric Young at TNA Slammiversary. Defeating one legend doesn’t make you a legend. Dubbing himself the Young Savage is a standard to set for Sosa. Nygma wants to tell Sosa it may just be the beginning, but the road will be long, complicated, and wacky. Good luck, man.
They fight
KC Navarro faces Ryan Nemeth. The former best friend of Nic Nemeth has turned baby Nemeth into a jealous little brother. Nygma is sure KC Navarro will win. Baby Nemeth should grow up and stand on his own.
Eddie Edwards competes against Leon Slater. The match seems to come outta nowhere, but that’s ok. Nygma thinks it will be a great match.
Championship goals
Who will face Cedric Alexander next? Fabian Aichner, the Home Town Man, BDE, Rich Swann, Jason Hotch, and Mr. Elegance will face off for a chance to become TNA X-Division Champion. Swann is a former X-Division Champion. BDE, Hotch, and the Home Town Man are not my favorites. Mr. Elegance, hell no. Nygma imagines it’s Fabian Aichner’s turn.
Creating a new Knockouts Championship puzzled me. It was already hard to find serious challengers for the World and World Tag Team belts. The tournament includes indie and NXT talents, which says a lot about the TNA Knockouts roster. Meanwhile, eight first-round matches will take place, including Allie vs. Heather by Elegance and Mara Sadè vs. Tasha Steelz.
The two matches are pretty interesting. Allie, with Rosemary dethroned Heather and Maggie by Elegance to become TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions. Mara Sadè faces a Knockouts veteran who is determined to stick around for the division. Nygma does not doubt Allie will win. Whether it’s Sadè or Steelz, Nygma predicts a great match, for sure.
I’ll see you tomorrow and on Friday with all the taping spoilers and the iMPACT review. As I have already said many times, 2026 is a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
