WWE Clash in Italy: 3 Potential Finishes for Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu

The Bloodline drama will reach a fever pitch at WWE Clash in Italy, live from the Inalpi Arena. Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu will lock horns yet again for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, the stakes are much higher. The title match will be a “Tribal Combat.” Furthermore, if Fatu loses, he would have to acknowledge Reigns and join forces with the Bloodline.

Given that the OTC recently won the belt at Mania, it seems unlikely that he would drop the title so early in his reign. This fact alone might make the outcome seem like a foregone conclusion. However, Fatu has been booked as a monster post-Mania, and it is difficult to bet against the Samoan Werewolf.

Therefore, the outcome of Reigns vs. Fatu is highly unpredictable. On that note, let’s take a look at 3 potential finishes for the OTC vs. the Samoan Werewolf at Clash in Italy.

#3. Roman Reigns Gets the Job Done at Clash in Italy

Although he defeated CM Punk on his own at Mania 42, there are still conversations that Roman Reigns needs The Usos to get the job done. It appears as if WWE is trying to replicate the Bloodline’s initial success. However, for that to happen, Reigns needs to earn more victories on his own and bring Jacob Fatu to kneel before him.

Hence, the OTC could bring a more vicious and ruthless side at Clash in Italy.  After all, the spot at the Head of the Table is on the line. As Fatu pointed out, Reigns has much to lose this Sunday. The World Heavyweight Champion cannot afford to make any mistakes and must be merciless.

Triple H has done a brilliant job of building Fatu up as a credible threat, but he might suffer the same fate that Jey Uso did at the Clash of Champions and Hell in a Cell 2020 PLEs. A clean and convincing win over the Samoan Werewolf at Clash in Italy will add momentum to his reign.

#2. The Usos Come to The Tribal Chief’s Aid

LA Knight has sensed a change in the Usos’ behavior, and his concerns might turn out to be true at Clash in Italy. Jimmy and Jey Uso have tried to keep the peace between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. However, when they had to pick a side, they stood by the OTC and did his bidding.

The Samoan Werewolf is a loose cannon. Truthfully speaking, Reigns survived Fatu at Backlash and escaped with the victory. Things will be different this Sunday, as the rulebook will be thrown out in Tribal Combat. Given how wild he has acted lately, Fatu might have the advantage.

Nonetheless, the OTC is a smart man and has The Usos’ support. Therefore, if the twins feel that Reigns is in trouble at Clash in Italy, they might interfere to take out Fatu. With Jimmy and Jey’s help, Fatu will be easy pickings for Reigns, who could comfortably win the battle.

#1. LA Knight Helps Jacob Fatu Do the Unthinkable

Jacob Fatu might not have many friends on the main roster, but he certainly has a sympathizer. LA Knight, who has been a victim of the numbers’ game, has taken issue with the Bloodline’s reunion. Knight is upset with the Usos’ loyalty to the OTC, and doesn’t want to see a repeat of the faction’s dominance.

The Usos have told Knight to stay out of the Bloodline’s family business. However, the Megastar has his eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship, and a reunited Bloodline would make the title borderline unattainable.

What better way to stop Reigns’ dominance than by taking his position away from him? Knight could interfere and cost the OTC everything at Clash in Italy. This would halt the Bloodline’s momentum and clear Knight’s path to the World Title.
