5 Big Reasons to Watch WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV

The wrestling world is so focused on the Clash in Italy that they have forgotten that there is a huge show this Saturday. WWE has been gearing up for another installment of its long-running show, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. These shows have been a great addition to the WWE schedule and have provided a welcome break from monthly PLE’s.

Saturday Night’s Main Event card is sneaky good. No World Championships will be decided, but that doesn’t mean nothing is on the line. WWE has booked Intercontinental and Tag Team Championship matches that are dripping with potential. These matches will highlight WWE’s future and could include a shock title change to warm up the crowd. Many are looking past this Saturday night, but are missing the huge reasons that WWE has given us to watch the show. Reasons we will discuss below.

A Double Dose Of Tag Team Championships

WWE has placed two huge tag team championship matches on Saturday Night’s Main Event card.  Both highlight the best of the tag division and will make for a very entertaining night of tag team wrestling.

The first match sees Lash Legend and Nia Jax going for the tag team championships they lost at WrestleMania. Paige and Brie Bella were a great nostalgia act and received a huge pop when they won the championships, but now is the time for the official return match. There are no other teams involved, so we will see just how well Bella and Paige work against a more polished team. Legend and Jax are a physically imposing pair, and there are no other teams for the champions to hide behind. This will be a true test for Paige and Brie Bella.

On the other side, the Street Profits will try to wrest the tag straps from defending champions Logan Paul and Theory. All four men are incredible wrestlers and should provide for one of the best tag team championships of the year. For those fans who love tag team wrestling, Saturday Night’s Main Event will be your wonderland.
