Danhausen Wins In Surprising In-Ring WWE SmackDown Debut

Danhausen has wreaked havoc since his debut back at WWE Elimination Chamber in February of this year. He’s made friends and a lot of enemies. For the latter, he had an answer for that, and it was casting a curse on them. People like iShowSpeed experienced firsthand what it meant to be “cursed,” seeing their time in WWE become an absolute nightmare, and on WWE SmackDown, a week away from WrestleMania 42, one of Danhausen’s cursed ones bit the dust.

After the referee, Dan Angler, got inadvertently cursed by Danhausen during the WWE Tag Team Championship Match between the champions Damian Priest and R-Truth and Kit Wilson and The Miz, the latter saw their opportunity at gold slip. As such, The Miz wanted revenge, maybe even a sanction for the referee. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis couldn’t do anything about the curse, but instead put Kit Wilson in a match with………… Danhausen?

The man billed from 1311, Mocking Bird Lane, showed out tonight, beginning the match with an impressive Bridge Northern Lights Suplex that almost saw him defeat Kit Wilson in the opening parts of the match. Danhausen would get distracted and play along with The Miz’s taunts, which allowed Wilson to get an opening. Kit was on the verge of finishing this off, but before he could. Danhausen would rise from the dead, cursing him while he was on the top rope, setting off a pyro malfunction that led to Kit Wilson stumbling on the top turnbuckle.

Danhausen would momentarily turn his attention to The Miz, who was standing on the apron trying to appeal what just happened to the referee, and poking him in the eye. Danhausen would secure his first win, in his debut match no less, with a Bicycle Kick, pinning Kit Wilson 1, 2, 3.

Ladies and gentlemen, Danhausen isn’t only quite the character, but he’s also Very Nice and Very Evil in the ring.
