Two Title Matches Added to WrestleMania 42 Card on WWE Raw

The tension in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title scene has been tense to say the least. The golden of the division kick-started when RHIYO, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship over The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka, and Kairi Sane, on the WWE Raw Netflix Anniversary show to kick off the year. Now, we see ourselves with a multiple-team WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match at WrestleMania 42.

RHIYO would drop the titles nearly two months later to the Nia Jax and Lash legend, the Irresistible Forces, on an episode of WWE SmackDown in Louisville, Kentucky. Since then, the Irresistible Forces have taken all challengers left and right, from Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to the legendary Bella Twins. Legend and Jax were able to fend them off, albeit under very controversial circumstances.

Now, we will have a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match that will pit the champions, The Irresistible Forces, against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, as well as The Bella Twins.

WWE Universe, it has been quite a wild ride for the division since the beginning of 2026, and now, we’ll determine who gets to lead the charge heading into the “new season” of WWE.

Speaking of multiple challengers, after successfully defending his Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston, Penta declared that he wants to defend the title at the “Showcase of the Immortals.” Fortunately for him, qualifiers to see who he’ll face have already concluded, and five heavy-hitters will now have their shot at it in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship, Penta will defend against the “Young OG” Je’Von Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and The Judgment Day’s own JD McDonagh. WrestleMania has had a history of great Ladder matches, whether it’s for a title or Money in the Bank, it always delivered, and this one certainly will.

Two new title matches to bolster the already impressive card of WrestleMania 42; we cannot wait for April 18th and 19th.
