AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch Official for WrestleMania 42 on WWE Raw

On this week’s WWE Raw, if it was even possible, things got more heated between Becky Lynch and AJ Lee, three weeks out from WWE WrestleMania 42. Lynch came into the ring heated, airing out her grievances and still baffled by the fact that fans love AJ Lee. Becky Lynch said she did the same thing, took time off to take care of what’s most important, but she did it in 10 months as compared to the decade-long hiatus of AJ Lee.

Becky aired more dirty laundry, saying that she went home to get some reprieve after her loss at Elimination Chamber. Still, her daughter, whom she considers her greatest accomplishment, was skipping, swinging her hair, and singing AJ Lee’s theme song, further aggravating her hatred for the “Original Chickbuster.”

Lynch reaffirmed that she’s the best ever to do it, running down all the publications and accomplishments she’s amassed this far in her illustrious career. AJ Lee, on the other hand, says Lynch, lays claim to the fact that she “mastered” the Divas Era. Lynch had some fighting words, remarking that AJ Lee may have mastered it, but she “murdered” it, thrusting the Women’s Division into heights never seen before.

AJ Lee was not going to have it anymore, and she stormed the ring looking for a fight. Lynch would hightail out of the arena, not looking for the same thing. Lee stood on the announcer’s table, claiming that at every turn, she’s “dog-walked” Lynch in the ring, and whenever Becky’s ready, she will do it again. In that moment, it hit AJ Lee that she wanted to face Becky again, only this time, on the “Grandest Stage of them All” WrestleMania 42 for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Lynch accepted right away, but not before making one last big jab at AJ Lee, saying that Lee should remember the day after WrestleMania 31 when she hung up her chucks and retired, because it’s going to happen again. Becky Lynch will be responsible for it.

Ladies and gentlemen, two generational stars collide at WrestleMania 42 as they fight for gold and dominance!
