The March 10, 2026, episode of NXT was a very special night for the Birth Right. They had already assembled a formidable group with TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace, Lexis King, Stacks, and Uriah Connors. King and Connors were facing Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights in a tag team match.
At one point, both Dempsey and Heights were on the outside. At that point, Fit Finlay and William Regal arrived to watch the match. Dempsey turned on Heights, allowing King to get the pin.
With the betrayal, Dempsey officially joined the Birth Right. The March 17 NXT saw the group’s first match as a complete faction. Connors and Stacks were facing Hank and Tank in a first-round match in the NXT Tag Team Championship number one contender’s tournament. Would their family lineage help them or put too much pressure on the group?
The Birth Right Gets the Win to Advance in an Exciting Match
The current tournament was put together after several months of tension in the tag team division. Everyone wanted The Vanity Project’s titles, so NXT General Manager Robert Stone gave them that opportunity. However, their first round opponent needs no introduction, as Hank and Tank are former NXT Tag Team Champions themselves.
Before the bell even rang to signal the start of the match, Connors and Stacks attacked them. After all the commotion was sorted out, Hank started jumping on Stacks, with Tank joining in with a senton.
Connors tried to defend him, but got slammed to the ground. Stacks delivered a missile drop kick, sending Hank to the ground. After tagging in Connors, they kicked him in the corner. After more hitting and another tag, they both unsuccessfully pinned him. In response, he delivered an arm drag to Connors and an elbow to Stacks. Tank got tagged in, wasting no time in clotheslining them.
After kicking Connors, the rest of Birth Right yelled at him, prompting him to dive on Dempsey and King. Stacks then got hit with a Superplex by Tank and a Swanton by Hank, but kicked out of the pin attempt. After more fighting, Lexis King jumped in the ring, protecting him from getting sandwiched by Hank and Tank and taking the bump himself. He then tagged Connors, but they didn’t see it.
After slamming him, Connors rolled up Tank for the pinfall victory. The Birth Right now has their first win as a complete faction, and they’re moving on in the tournament. Will their familial connections take them all the way to a tag team championship match? If they wrestle like they just did, that seems like a very likely matchup.
