Sports. Honestly. Since 2011

“The Vision” Must Capitalize on Jey Uso’s Injury for WWE WrestleMania Ambitions

“The Vision” must capitalise on Jey Uso’s injury at WWE Elimination Chamber to save their WWE WrestleMania ambitions.

Last April, “The Vision” emerged and labelled itself the future of WWE WrestleMania main events. Seth Rollins was clearly lining up that role at this year’s Mania. An injury derailed that and seemingly promoted Bron Breakker to the position. “The Vision” curse continued when Breakker was also injured.

The full hoodoo came into fruition when Bronson Reed was injured during the final WWE Elimination Chamber qualifier. That played into the hands of Jey Uso, who would go on to pin El Grande Americano for the win.

This also ended any chance that one of the original three members of “The Vision” would headline WWE WrestleMania 42.

Logan Paul is the Saviour of “The Vision”

WWE SmackDown injected some serious unpredictability into WWE. Uso was assaulted and taken away in an ambulance. Paul Heyman made the case for Logan Paul to take his place in the WWE Elimination Chamber.

But the “Maverick” was forced to earn a shot. He defeated Jacob Fatu in a qualifier to go into the match in Chicago tonight (Saturday, February 28). Paul also unmasked the mystery masked man who has been trying to ruin “The Vision’s” vision. Who he is, is still a mystery.

Without the three founding members, Paul and Austin Theory have seemed very misfit and a little mid-card. Now, Paul has the chance to capitalise on the situation and fight his way to the main event of WWE WrestleMania 42.

That would add some much-needed unpredictability into WWE WrestleMania which many feel is set for an underwhelming rematch of Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes. Global bookmakers have Rhodes has an extreme favorite to win the WWE Elimination Chamber.

What If Paul Doesn’t Win?

Even if Paul doesn’t win, “The Vision” comes out much better than it went into Friday afternoon.

They have a presence in the WWE Elimination Chamber which seems essential for a group that’s supposed to be the future of all WWE WrestleMania main events.

If Paul doesn’t win, it would set him and Theory up to challenge The Usos for the World Tag Team Championship at WWE WrestleMania 42. The right amount of build and this is a match that could easily headline the show.

So no matter what, “The Vision” is back on track to achieve what it set out to do. Even if none of the people who set out the vision is here to see it come to light.
