3 Biggest Threats to Giulia on WWE’s Road to WrestleMania

Giulia is not the longest-reigning U.S. Champ, but she has held the title for the most cumulative days as a 2-time U.S. Champ. She initially won the U.S. Title from Zelina Vega on a random episode of SmackDown in June. After losing the U.S. Title to Chelsea Green in November, she won the U.S. Title back from Chelsea Green on the first SmackDown of 2026 in what has been a hot potato feud.

Despite the accolade, her title reigns have been extremely uneventful. There are no storylines to latch onto, and her matches are good but not memorable. Quite frankly, it seems that WWE has never cared about the U.S. Title, and Giulia is merely carrying a prop, rather than a championship, around her waist. As WWE approaches WrestleMania 42, here are three major threats to Giulia’s title reign.

Jordynne Grace

Jordynne Grace has already lost her shot at the World Title after losing to Jade Cargill last week on SmackDown. She was not included in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, so she won’t be getting another shot at the title for the WrestleMania season. Although she will have to get to the back of the line for the world title, she can still be at the front of the lineup for the U.S. Title in the mid card.

She already teased some feuds in the mid card after some back and forth exchanges with Alba Fyre and former U.S. Champ Chelsea Green, with whom she has TNA History. Consolation prize booking is prevalent within the confines of the WWE. As someone who recently got called up from NXT, the U.S. Title would be a great launching pad for her momentum and credibility on the main roster.
