Roman Reigns triumphed over twenty-nine men to win the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble, earning him a trip to WrestleMania: Vegas. Coming out of the match, that was a huge talking point amongst fans. The other moment everyone is talking about is the attack on Bron Breakker.
Even before the match started, it was shrouded in controversy. Breakker was picked number two, which caused a heated Paul Heyman to once again argue with Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.
After their discussion, Breakker indeed entered the number two position. He was about to enter the ring when a masked man leapt from the crowd and started attacking him. Defenseless, he took major damage before entering the match, with the masked man running away. Within seconds, Oba Femi dumped him over the top rope. Who is this second masked man, and what is his motive behind this attack?
The Vision Has Already Begun Their Turn on Him
Given the size of the masked man, it’s obviously not Bronson Reed who attacked Breakker. But Austin Theory or Logan Paul attacking him could make sense. On January 26, 2026, Raw, it was decided between the members of the Vision that Breakker should be the man to win the Rumble.
Looking more closely at their conversation and the members themselves, there was always a slight possibility that one of them could betray him. It’s very interesting how they decide he should win, then he gets attacked and thrown out within seconds.
Even Heyman was shocked that he was out that quickly, arguing with the referees about what happened. That would be very characteristic of Paul, and Theory had a lot of issues with Grayson Waller when they paired together. If Paul or Theory were under the mask, the disintegration of the Vision has already begun.
Seth Rollins is Taking Inspiration From His Biggest Rival
When CM Punk tore his tricep two years ago at the Royal Rumble, he was out for over half of the year. However, that never meant that his rivalry with Drew McIntyre would end. For months, they faced off even though Punk wasn’t cleared to wrestle. It was entertaining, and kept him in storylines while injured.
The man who hates him the most is Rollins, which is why he would want to do his “storyline while injured” act better than him. His shoulder was hurt, with a superkick and stomp not involving that part of the body at all.
There’s a ton of offensive moves he can use with one hand or his legs. Why wait to get revenge on Breakker when he can do leg strikes under a mask? Rollins, being the masked man, allows for minimal offense and maximum damage until he gets cleared.
Will the Masked Man Be Unveiled Soon?
There’s a very high probability that the masked man will be unveiled on the February 2 Raw. Heyman has already gotten very angry at Pearce, and he probably blames him for everything that happened. Pearce is likewise done with Heyman’s antagonistic ways.
If he wants Raw to go down smoothly, he’ll probably demand that the masked man reveal himself. With his only other shot to main event WrestleMania: Vegas being four weeks away at the Elimination Chamber, Breakker might be on the lookout for the masked man himself.

But if WWE wants to keep the mystery and the tension between him and the Vision ongoing, the masked man should be revealed in the coming weeks. Either way, Breakker is furious after what happened on Saturday night. There’s a good chance that the attack only fueled him more to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.
