WWE is on the road to the Royal Rumble, but they have one last stop at SNME in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on January 24. The matches currently scheduled for this SNME are: Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn in a WWE Title #1C Match, Rhiyo (c) vs. Judgment Day for the Women’s Tag Titles, and Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu in a Personal Rivalry Match.
WWE has one more SmackDown to add one last match to the card, as Saturday Main Events have a proclivity of being booked with four matches. The match that could be added is Jade Cargill (c) vs. Jordynne Grace for the WWE Title. Also, since this show is in Canada, could the fans see the return of Chris Jericho? Without further ado, here are the SNME Predictions for January 24, 2026.
Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn
Randy Orton was the initial betting favorite to win this match, as he has a compelling history with Drew McIntyre and can also get revenge for his student, Cody Rhodes, who lost the title to McIntyre recently. It would be too early for recent NXT call-up, Trick Williams, to fight for the World Title, as he will take the pin here as the only heel in this match who has enemies in Orton and Zayn.
A babyface would be an ideal victor for this match to challenge a heel McIntyre. Damian Priest already battled McIntyre so many times in 2025 that it would feel repetitive if he won here. As for Sami Zayn, this is taking place in his home country of Canada, so it would be too good to pass up this opportunity for him to make his son proud and get one step closer to his very first world title.
Speaking of Canada, Chris Jericho has been rumored to show up in WWE and could very well show up this Saturday. Although he is from Winnipeg and not Montreal, it would be bittersweet for him to overshadow Sami Zayn in the main event as a way to get revenge for his pal, Kevin Owens, and get payback for when Sami Zayn called Jericho a walking Christmas tree due to his bright-lit jacket.
Prediction: Sami Zayn
Rhiyo (c) vs. Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women ‘s Tag Titles
Although Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez of the Judgment Day are credible threats to the tag titles, they will not dethrone Rhiyo so soon after Rhiyo won the tag titles from Kabuki Warriors. After Stephanie Vaquer retains the World Title against Raquel Rodriguez, Morgan will have to win either the Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber to target the World Title as the leader of the Judgment Day.
Henceforth, she cannot have the tag titles holding her back, as she must be the one to get revenge for Raquel. It looks like WWE is booking Judgment Day on a downward spiral. Balor already lost the World Title Match to CM Punk on Raw, and the tension between Morgan and Perez will blow over as they fail to co-exist due to their jealousy over the attention they get from Dirty Dom.
Also, from a more structural standpoint in the sphere of babyface-heel dynamics, Nia Jax and Lash Legend are going to defeat Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Giulia and Kiana James in a triple threat number one contender’s match on SmackDown. As heel challengers, they will need to battle babyface champions, and Rhiyo fits that bill. Unfortunately, for Judgment Day, they do not.
Prediction: Rhiyo
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu was originally scheduled to battle Drew McIntyre to determine the next contender for Rhodes’ WWE Title back in 2025 until he got his teeth knocked down his throat by a mystery attacker. Most fingers have been pointed at either Drew McIntyre or Cody Rhodes to be the mystery attacker, as they are the only two pro wrestlers who were involved with Fatu in the World Title picture.
Rightfully so, when Fatu returned to SmackDown, he attacked both McIntyre and Rhodes in the 3 Stages of Hell WWE Title Match out of frustration with the fact that he felt he belonged in that title match. Fatu did not intend to screw Rhodes, but it happened that way since Rhodes attacked Fatu from behind when Fatu was focused on attacking McIntyre inside the steel cage.
However, WWE has booked Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu in a tricky situation. While Rhodes is the face of the WWE and needs to regain momentum on the road to the Royal Rumble after losing the title to McIntyre, Fatu also should win his return match, whether it is clean or not. Due to rumors of Fatu turning heel soon, he will nefariously win this match to protect Rhodes in defeat.
Prediction: Jacob Fatu
Bold Prediction: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Jordynne Grace for the WWE Women’s Title
Jade Cargill has been bullying every woman backstage since winning the WWE Title, but she had no clear challenger or credible threat until Jordynne Grace showed up. Since getting called up from NXT, Grace has already defeated Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green, which WWE considers to be enough momentum for Grace to get a world title shot in what is an infinitesimal division without a backbone.
Seeing two powerhouses go at it should be a spectacle for the fans. Due to the lack of build, they should not have a title match at the Rumble. However, due to their immense star power, they should not be relegated to a title match on a random SmackDown. SNME is a good sweet spot for this title match to be added to the card. Since it is too early for Grace to win the world title, Cargill will retain.
The long-term plan for Cargill is a world title match at WrestleMania against Bianca Belair, who is a strong betting favorite to win either the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber after a big return from her debilitating finger injury. As for Grace, she will likely seek a consolation prize in Giulia’s U.S. Title on the road to Mania as she continues her feud with Chelsea Green and company.
Prediction: Jade Cargill
