TNA Genesis 2026 is now behind us; it’s time to take the path to TNA Rebellion. Until April, TNA Wrestling announced two PLEs. TNA No Surrender will take place on February 13, and TNA Sacrifice on March 27. This week, Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC is once again LIVE, from Albuquerque, NM.
Last night on NXT, ZaRuca became the No. 1 Contenders for The Elegance Brand’s TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. After challenging Léi Ying Lee for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Genesis, Zaria’s shoulder was less than 100% going into the No. 1 Contender’s match.
Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; taking a look at what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (01/22/26) – The Nygma’s View
The Feast or Fired Concept
The idea is based on the object on a pole match, which sees wrestlers trying to gain possession of items hanging from poles attached to the ring posts. In this case, the participants try to grab one of four briefcases from the poles. A wrestler can only claim a briefcase if he/she leaves the ring with it and both feet touch the floor.
One case holds a contract for a TNA World Championship match, another case holds a contract for a TNA X Division Championship match, and the third a contract for a TNA World Tag Team Championship match (with a partner of that wrestler’s choosing). The fourth and final briefcase contains a pink slip, which fires the wrestler carrying it.

Matches and Segments
The Knockouts division saw momentum swing in multiple directions. Léi Ying Lee retained the Knockouts World Championship, but the post-match appearance of Elayna Black signaled a new threat emerging. Black is scheduled to appear on Thursday Night iMPACT, following her formal introduction by new authority figure Daria Rae.
JDC retired at Genesis; he will be there to reveal the new member of the System alongside his “brothers.” Jeff Hardy faces Mustafa Ali, while Indi Hartwell competes against M by Elegance. We’ll also hear from the new TNA World Champion, Mike Santana, as he regained the title at Genesis. We can also expect to see Nic Nemeth appear, as he hasn’t cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet chance yet.
