TNA iMPACT Preview (11/20/25) – The Fallout From TNA Turning Point

TNA Turning Point 2025 was a seismic event. After a month without any episode of iMPACT, everything fell apart in the matter of a few hours (and my bowel, too). NXT invaded TNA, Mike Santana was ambushed, Nic Nemeth was attacked, and Frankie Kazarian became the TNA World Champion. At the PLE, once again, NXT invaded TNA, again. Right when Nic Nemeth was about to call his shot on Kazarian, again.

Last night at NXT Gold Rush – Night One, Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans offered a high-flying wrestling demonstration, but DarkState retained the NXT Tag Team titles. Also, Joe Hendry and Thea Hail failed to dethrone the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, Ethan Page and Chelsea Green. Next week on Night Two, the TNA Knockouts World title is on the line. NXT’s Kelani Jordan will face NXT’s Jordynne Grace and TNA’s Léi Ying Lee.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT Gold Rush may be a WWE event; taking a look at what happens on NXT on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

At Turning Point, Mike Santana arrived in the closing moments of the main event, fighting through visible injuries to stand alongside TNA International Champion Steve Maclin and secure a huge victory over TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian & Nic Nemeth. Before the celebration could begin, the war reignited as NXT Superstars stormed the arena, leaving Santana, Maclin, The Hardys, and security laid out. The partnership between TNA and NXT has never been more volatile, and Kazarian continues to tighten his grip on the World Championship. This Thursday, Santana speaks, and with the entire TNA locker room demanding answers, nothing is off the table.

Matt Cardona collides with “The Southern Psychopath” Mance Warner as their grudge boils over once again. Cardona is still riding the shockwaves from his recent WWE SmackDown appearance, while Warner is looking to unleash violence by any means necessary. Who survives?

The Knockouts division explodes as eight contenders collide in dual 4-Way matches with major championship implications. The winners will face off in two weeks, with the winner of that singles match earning a TNA Knockouts World Title opportunity at Final Resolution. As the path to the Knockouts World Title narrows, who will rise to the top in the most competitive women’s division in professional wrestling?

After a highlight-reel performance in eight-man action at Turning Point and the emotional reunion of The Rascalz, Myron Reed steps into singles competition against Order 4’s John Skyler. Reed is riding major momentum, but with Order 4 never far from the fight, the numbers game is always in play. Expect fireworks and chaos.

The Nygma’s View

With four matches and a segment, I think the recipe for a good show is there (even if there’s some space for a fifth match). After last week’s shocking events, whether you clear the air to build something new, or you try to give explanations. It’s a Fallout episode, so it should explore the two directions.

Knockouts Things

Eight Knockouts will face in two 4-Way matches to determine the two lucky ladies who will face for a TNA Knockouts World title opportunity. For the moment, NXT’s Kelani Jordan is the Champion, but it could be Jordynne Grace or the Warrior Léi Ying Lee. Putting Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell in the same match after the Turning Point no-DQ bout is quite risky, probably more for Hartwell than Luna.  In the other bout, Tessa Blanchard is announced to support Victoria Crawford, which is already a bad sign.

Nygma says: There’s not one Knockout here who doesn’t deserve a title chance. Some already had one, or are former Champions. In the first match, things seem to be good for Dani Luna, so it will make sense to see her back in the Championship competition. In the other bout, Jody Threat and Killer Kelly have my vote, but think about the Angel Warriors. What if Léi Ying Lee becomes Champion and Xia Brookside her challenger?

And the Other Things

Myron Reed faces one half of The Great Hands, John Skyler. In another language, Order 4 vs The Rascalz. Skyler won’t come to the ring alone, at least with Jason Hotch. And maybe Mustafa Ali, Agent 0, and Tasha Steelz. Nygma says: On paper, it can be a great bout. Then, with Order 4 not too far, that will end up as a brawl involving The Rascalz, too.

Mike Santana has some things to say. If we cut the TNA pause in the schedule, Santana was the Champion one day. And he was our hero, even for one day. The one who saw it coming has all my respect, because the pill was hard to swallow for a lot of us. Nygma says: I don’t expect anything more from him than an in-depth speech. He will tell us about his desire to become Champion again and start a war with the NXT talents who dared to invade the iMPACT Zone.

Mance Warner faces Matt Cardona again. Cardona has a long history with Steph De Lander, who will be ringside in Warner’s corner, which explains the “again.” Over the last three years, they have faced seven times in three different promotions. Nygma says: What should I add when everything has already been written about these three?

I’ll see you on Friday. Have you read and listened to my Jody Threat interview? And Ash by Elegance piece? Jump on it. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
