Dominik Mysterio has hinted that he is not satisfied with his current theme songs or the ones used by The Judgment Day, especially with the growing criticism of WWE’s music production. Fans have argued for a long time that many of the newer tracks sound too generic. Because of this, several performers have started to request changes.
Superstars Push for Theme Song Adjustments
Recent reports show that several WWE talents have requested to change their current themes or even return to their old ones. This wave of changes has brought back old-school hits for Shinsuke Nakamura, The Street Profits, and Kairi Sane. At the same time, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have publicly expressed their desire to use “Written in My Face” and “Broken Dreams.”
Dominik Mysterio also voiced his frustration with his current entrance music, including both his solo theme and The Judgment Day’s theme, during his appearance on the Towers of Power podcast. Without giving the full quote, he explained that he would be happy to replace both songs because neither one represents the dynamism he wants attached to his character.
Why the Current Themes Fall Short
Def Rebel created his entrance theme, “It Is My Time,” which some fans believe fits his villain role. However, many feel that it lacks creativity and the star-making quality expected for someone positioned as a future top name in the company.
The Judgment Day’s theme, “The Rulers of the World,” has been criticized even more heavily. Fans argue that its unusual style and tone do not fit any of the faction members and make their entrances feel forced. Many still believe that Alter Bridge’s “The Other Side” suits the group much better.

Although WWE has achieved many successes under Triple H’s leadership, one of its weaknesses remains its musical direction. Both fans and talent have voiced concerns about Def Rebel’s work, especially since previous composers like Jim Johnston and later CFO$ produced memorable themes for major stars, including Bobby Roode and The Undisputed Era.
