2K Sports has just released a first look at the 2010 version of Drew McIntyre in WWE 2K25’s MyFaction. McIntyre has been a staple in the WWE 2K series since his 2017 return; however, he has only appeared as the Scottish Warrior.

The last time the “Chosen One” was in a wrestling video game was 13 years ago in WWE 13. This will be the first time that this incarnation of McIntyre will appear in a 2K videogame. WWE 13 was published by THQ and not 2K Sports.
Fans are excited about McIntyre’s iconic “Broken Dreams” theme song being included in the game. McIntyre has not walked out to the theme in over a decade. However, it was used in an entrance package to rile up the Cardiff crowd at Clash at the Castle in 2022.
“Broken Dreams” joins Kane’s “Slow Chemicals” and AJ Styles’ “Get Ready to Fly” as surprise themes added to WWE 2K25. Both Kane and Styles had retro versions of themselves added to the MyFaction mode recently as persona cards.
Drew McIntyre 10’ will be added to MyFaction soon; however, the nature in which to acquire him is unknown. For reference, Retro AJ Styles can be acquired through winning a sequence of Live Event challenges. On the other hand, Kane 03 is a collection set reward for the Hellfire pack series.

MyFaction is a pay-to-win/loot box-heavy game mode similar to Madden and EAFC’s Ultimate Team. Therefore, it is highly likely that lots of packs may need to be opened in order for fans to play as the “Chosen One”. For fans of the Scot, the grind (or payment) may be worth it.
