Shinsuke Nakamura Set for In-Ring Comeback on WWE Japan Tour

WWE is preparing for a much-anticipated return to Japan this October with two Supershow events in Tokyo. Fans can look forward to stacked match cards, top stars, and the long-awaited in-ring comeback of Shinsuke Nakamura, who has not appeared since June. Alongside Nakamura, big names like CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY are set to deliver unforgettable action for Japanese audiences.

Inring Return by Shinsuke Nakamura

The biggest attraction of the tour will be the return of Shinsuke Nakamura. He has not competed since the King of the Ring qualifying match on SmackDown in June, and fans in Japan will finally see his comeback matches after several months away.

  • On October 17 (Night One), Nakamura will be partnering with Jey Uso against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
  • On Night Two (18 October), Nakamura, CM Punk, and Jey Uso team up against The Vision (Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed) in a six-man tag team match.

Other Featured Matches on the Card

The Tokyo Supershows will also have championship matches.

  • Giulia defends against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
  • Seth Rollins defends his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk.

Such games will provide the Japanese fans with memorable experiences.

The Future of Nakamura Remains Unclear

Nakamura is officially making his return to action in Japan. However, he is not scheduled to compete at the Crown Jewel event in November. WWE has not confirmed whether he will continue as a full-time television star after the Tokyo shows. Fans will have to wait to see when the “King of Strong Style” next appears on TV.
