WWE’s Damian Priest looked like he was on the verge of victory, but once again, Aleister Black found a way to outsmart him. Just as Priest was closing in on a win, Black shoved the referee into his path. trying to save the official at the expense of his life, Priest exposed himself to danger. That was all Black needed—he struck with a devastating Black Mass, sealing another victory over his rival.
Black Strikes Before the Match
This was not the initial dirty trick of the night. The moment Damian Priest was heading towards the ring, Aleister Black attacked him behind the back, making an early advantage before the bell had even struck. Priest overcame the poor beginning and controlled much of the second half of the game. Nevertheless, the referee distraction came at the right time to his disadvantage.
Aleister Black Continues to Be a Thorn in Priest’s Side
Damian Priest has defeated some of WWE’s strongest stars, such as Drew McIntyre; however, when it comes to Aleister Black, he appears to be hitting a wall. Their feud started when Priest attempted to save R-Truth when he was viciously attacked by one of Black’s attacks. Priest saved Truth, but was the next target of Black. Since that time, Black has attacked over and over again during and after matches. It makes the competition not only professional but personal.
When Damian Priest and Black finally collided in the ring weeks earlier, the game soon ran out of control. Black intentionally self-disqualified and unleashed a vicious attack on Priest after the match. It proves that it was more important to hurt him than to win. The chaos only intensified as both men brawled backstage and in the ring, forcing WWE officials to schedule a proper showdown.
The Black Mass Strikes Again
The match of the night might have been the redemption of Damian Priest. However, once again, Aleister Black demonstrated how unsafe and unpredictable he is. His well-executed Black Mass, a performance few ever come out of, closed the game in hockamocking style.
Although Black might have been given the win, it is not yet the end of the competition between the two. It is something that the WWE Universe can taste: Damian Priest and Aleister Black are heading to even a bloodier confrontation, and this fight is just starting.
