Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa: A Missed Opportunity for WWE

Solo Sikoa is the current WWE United States Champion. He defeated Jacob Fatu, and the two former Bloodline members have since pursued different storylines. Solo Sikoa is in a storyline with Sami Zayn, while Jacob is in tag team matches. They need to find a way to enter a feud that could build momentum and culminate at WrestleMania 42.

Jacob Fatu’s Fall into Obscurity

Jacob Fatu’s WWE debut last year garnered significant support from fans. He was pushed to the top, where the former MLW National Openweight Champion delivered. He earned the opportunity to win the United States Championship from LA Knight at WrestleMania 41. His reign lasted 70 days before he lost the title.

Since then, the Samoan Werewolf has taken a different direction, participating in more tag team matches than singles bouts alongside Solo Sikoa. He had a title rematch at SummerSlam 2025 but lost the Steel Cage match due to interference from Sikoa’s MFTs. It’s surprising that a talent like Jacob, who could have been a major draw for weekly television, has become obscure since losing his title.

How WWE Should Push Jacob Fatu?

Jacob Fatu needs to become obsessed with reclaiming the United States Championship. He should create problems for Solo Sikoa and his MFTs, which would endear him to fans and enhance his character. Jacob has the strength to dominate his opponents, and his charisma has already won over the audience.

With Survivor Series season approaching, Jacob could challenge the United States Champion and his family members to a traditional match, backed by a team of powerhouses.

A WarGames stipulation would suit him perfectly. This brutal encounter could pave the way for a title match, allowing Fatu to recapture the United States Championship. The company should not miss this opportunity to capitalize on his potential.
