WWE Raw will feature two major championship matches in Montreal this week. Plus a hometown hero is in action at the Videotron Centre in Quebec, Canada.
WWE Raw Montreal streams live on Netflix at 8pm. Here’s our full WWE Raw preview.

- Women’s World Championship: Naomi vs. IYO SKY
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri
- Sami Zayn vs. Rusev
- CM Punk Promo
WWE Raw Match Card
It’s difficult to see either of the women’s titles on the line changing hands on WWE Raw. IYO SKY’s shot at Naomi and the World Championship she took from her should be an exciting match.
But Naomi hasn’t looked back since she unleashed a killer instinct when she attempted to murder Jade Cargill. It’ll be nice to see the two fight it out without Rhea Ripley. But if she gets involved that could play into the Japanese former champion’s hands.
Becky Lynch will make light work of Maxxine Dupri in the other title bout. But will this be too good an opportunity for Nikki Bella miss to hit back at Lynch who had some less than savoury words for her last week? Lynch scoring more screen time in Happy Gilmore 2 appears to be the spark for what could be a big feud between the two WWE superstars.
WWE Raw Montreal Hometown Hero
Sami Zayn will get a warm reception in Montreal when he takes on Rusev. He is hot off a win at WWE SummerSlam against Karrion Kross, and will want to keep his momentum going.
Rusev is embroiled in a fierce feud with Sheamus. The Bulgarian could definitely do with upsetting the local fans.
CM Punk interrupted Seth Rollins World Heavyweight Championship match with LA Knight last week. Punk will be in Montreal to let Rollins know how he feels after his arch nemesis took the championship off him minutes after he’d won it at WWE SummerSlam.
But LA Knight might feel he’s due another shot at the gold just as much as Punk. Perhaps Gunther will also feel he is owed a shot at the championship he has held twice this year.
