Oleg and Tsuji Tiebreaker

EVIL, Yota Tsuji, and NEVER Openweight champion Boltin Oleg are all tied and leading the A Block at 6 points. If the round robin ended now, they would all be in the playoffs.

The outcome of day seven may see at least one competitor leading the A Block. Oleg and Tsuji are expected to be a good one, but with these implications, their match might exceed those expectations.

Uemura Goes For Two Straight Against EVIL

Yuya Uemura is tied at four points with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Ryohei Oiwa, and Taichi. He just got back to the win column after beating Callum Newman in his last match, but he has his work cut out for him when he faces EVIL, who has had Dick Togo and Don Fale interfere for him from the beginning of the tournament.

For a short while, EVIL was the lone leader of the A Block. Still at the top, he will look to put on another winning streak after also bouncing back after a loss against Sanada by beating Taichi.

G1 Regular Tanahashi Take On First Timer Oiwa

Three-time G1 winner Hiroshi Tanahashi will go up against G1 rookie Ryohei Oiwa in the main event. Tanahashi is the only multi-time winner in this year’s tournament, and yet he finds himself in the same standing as the first-timer Oiwa.

Both men are seeking to build a winning streak, as a win over the other will give them just that. Will Tanahashi’s experience prevail, or will Oiwa prove that his youth is enough?

Meanwhile, Bullet Club War Dogs leader David Finlay will do battle against United Empire’s Callum Newman for the first time, as both men look to get their second win of the tournament. Additionally, Taichi will clash with former Just Five Guys stablemate Sanada, with both men also looking to climb the standings.
