Superstar Returns After 6 Months on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXIX started with a huge tag team match between CM Punk and Sami Zayn and the alliance of Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins. Punk and Zayn seemingly had things in the bag. Sami Zayn had Breakker on the ropes, literally, looking for a Helluva Kick to notch the win.

Unfortunately, Paul Heyman would get involved, distracting the referee and Zayn in the process. Seth Rollins and his cronies had an ace up their sleeve. On the verge of losing the battle, “Auszilla” Big Bronson Reed would attack CM Punk on the outside. Distracted by his partner getting attacked, Zayn would avert his attention from Breakker, leading to a devastating Spear from the former Intercontinental Champion.

Of course, Zayn did not kick out of that one, leading to a Rollins and Breakker win. Bronson Reed would not stop, giving CM Punk a Tsunami to put a huge exclamation point on this development. It’s pretty cut and dry; Bronson Reed has now aligned himself with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman.

The question remains, “Why?” Rollins and Reed have a tumultuous history. Maybe the WWE Universe will get more answers in the coming days.
