Money in the Bank 2025: Location, Date, Time, and Full List of Wrestlers Competing

It is often considered that WWE has a ‘big four’ of PLEs, of course being Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. However, if there were to be a PLE worthy of turning that big four into a big five, it would undoubtedly be Money in the Bank. 2025 marks 20 years of Money in the Bank, the stipulation and 15 years of Money in the Bank, the PLE.

The first MITB match took place at WrestleMania 21 where the briefcase was won by Edge. He held onto the object for 280 days before cashing in following an Elimination Chamber match where John Cena had battled five others to retain the title. He was worn out and no match for Edge following, leading to the first-ever cash in and one that quite simply provided the formula for others to follow. Most briefcase holders had taken the Edge approach, cashing in on a champion after they’ve already had a match or close to the end of a grueling match. Others have announced their intent to cash in for a straightforward title shot.

In all, there have been 26 briefcase holders with only six of them failing to win the world championship. Simply put, there is no match more consequential in WWE, than this one. For both the male and female competitors, MITB serves as perhaps one’s best shot to win a world championship. It is for that reason that wrestlers seek out opportunities to get one of six coveted spots in the match. That is where we currently sit in WWE’s calendar as MITB qualifying matches are officially underway.

Below you will find a full list of each entrant an details about their qualification. Additionally, you’ll find all information about the upcoming event including date, time, and location.

It’s time to get ready for one of WWE’s most pivotal events of the year, Money in the Bank 2025.
