WWE Releases Braun Strowman Along With 14 More Talent (Full List)

Last night, May 2nd, 2025, reports came out from reliable outlets such as Fightful Select that a handful of big-time WWE talent have been released from the company. A couple of them are former world champions and have been involved in high-profile storylines over the last year. This batch of WWE Releases includes former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman.

Strowman was used prominently just over the last few months, essentially being the first real feud of the current United States Champion, Jacob Fatu. Other notable names include Dakota Kai, who’s a member of one of the best factions in WWE over the last five years Damage CTRL, Cora Jade who was involved in the storyline between Bayley and Roxanne Perez, as well as WWE mainstay Shayna Baszler.

This news seemingly came out of nowhere. While not a surprise since WWE tends to reexamine their roster post-WrestleMania, it’s still a sad one.

Here’s a full list of the WWE Releases that started on May 2nd, 2025:

  • Braun Strowman
  • Cora Jade
  • Shayna Baszler
  • Dakota kai
  • Kayden Carter
  • Katana Chance
  • Gigi Dolin
  • Eddy Thorpe
  • Riley Osborne
  • Jakara Jackson
  • Wolfgang
  • Mark Coffey
  • Joe Coffey

A truly sad day for the WWE Universe. LWOPW wishes nothing but the best for the talent in whatever promotion or path they choose to pursue next.
