The April 3 edition of TNA IMPACT is one that you won’t want to miss.
Yeah, I know. You missed me last Friday. I may still have a bandage around my left hand (and three stitches), but I survived. The bad news is that my two hands are healed now, so you will have to deal with me for a long time.
Last week, two matches were announced for Rebellion: The Hardys vs. The Nemeth for the TNA World Tag Team titles and Moose defending the TNA X-Division title in an Ultimate-X Match. Some of you may have seen the spoilers piece, but I would like you to act as if you haven’t.
As we are now on the Road to Rebellion, one of TNA’s “Big Four” PPVs, taking place on April 27, with a brief stop in Las Vegas on April 17 for Unbreakable, the question marks are turning into a load of exclamation points. Let’s call them Milan Miracles.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling
Last week, it was announced that Tessa Blanchard would team up with NXT’s Jacy Jayne and a mystery partner to battle Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich, Xia Brookside, and Léi Ying Lee this Thursday on IMPACT! Jayne’s allies in Fatal Influence will be crossing the line into TNA, as Jazmyn Nyx will be the final member of her team, with Fallon Henley in their corner.
As tensions continue to rise in the Knockouts division, don’t miss this star-studded showdown.
Former Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) collide with NXT’s invading duo, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson! With all eyes on the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles, expect a hard-hitting showdown on TNA iMPACT!
Fresh off last week’s explosive war of words, Steph De Lander and Mance Warner promise to reveal what’s next in their ongoing conflict with Sami Callihan. With emotions running high and the Death Machine looming, expect tensions to escalate in the iMPACT Zone.
After losing control last week, The System faces severe consequences—a public firing. With Eddie Edwards openly calling them out for recent shortcomings, who will be forced out, and what does this mean for The System’s future in TNA?
TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy address the iMPACT Zone. After the vicious attack by Nic and Ryan Nemeth at Sacrifice, The Hardys will set the stage for their highly anticipated title showdown against The Nemeth Brothers at Rebellion. What will The Hardys have to say? Find out on TNA iMPACT!
After Kazarian’s blatant disrespect towards Elijah, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, and the passionate fans of El Paso last week, Elijah has reached his breaking point. Determined to silence Kazarian’s arrogance once and for all, Elijah seeks retribution in an intense singles showdown on TNA iMPACT!
Director of Authority Santino Marella has promised a major announcement regarding the future of the TNA Digital Media Championship. Discover what Santino has planned for this Thursday on TNA IMPACT!
The Nygma’s View
More segments than matches announced is not the best sign for immediate action, but it’s a good sign for future action. Although I didn’t review last week’s episode for good reason, this one is a follow-up to last week’s. I mean, Eddie Edwards began the end of The System. The fact that he even verbally attacked his wife, Alisha, was one big surprise.
One question is, who will be publicly fired on Thursday night? But the bigger question is, will The System survive this firing?
The Kazarian vs Elijah match sounds like a #1 contender match for the TNA World Championship. Last week’s “guitar heroes’ segment not only showed us how Kazarian was determined to become Champion for the first time in his long career, but it also revealed that, despite Elijah saying he is Hendry’s best friend, enemies are often kept even closer than friends.
I don’t believe in Joe Hendry, you know it, but I don’t believe Elijah is honest.
And, yes, one day, like he said, people think, he will turn on Hendry. However, Kazarian has the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Cup, which gives him a significant advantage.

For weeks, I have told you Mance vs. Sami would be a war, in every sense of the term. TNA DOA Santino Marella stuck his nose into their business, and I can’t help but relate the 2 announcements.
If De Lander and Warner have something to say, I easily imagine Santino will have something even bigger to announce. Whatever it will be, expect it to be huge and bloody. The Hardys have some things to say to the Nemeth Bros. The match at Rebellion is set. What could they add? The only thing that would make me happy is 3 letters. Guess which…
As I was saying in last week’s preview, the NXT Women’s Tag Team division crossed the line. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley, The Meta Girls, everybody wants the Tag Team titles. Jacy Jayne failed to become Knockouts Champion, but she is back this week with her Fatal Influence friends, Fallon Henley and Tatum Paxley.
The threat for Masha Slamovich and The Elegances is now coming from everywhere, NXT and TNA. Spitfire, the Meta Girls, Fatal Influence, and Tessa Blanchard. They all want to eat their piece of the cake (just like Ash by Elegance did last week?). But there’s a difference between wanting and succeeding, mostly with a Champion like Masha.
You’ll see for yourself if Nygma’s crystal ball was right, but you know apples never fall far from the apple tree…
NEXT WEEK at 8/7c on @AXSTV in the US, @Sportsnet 360 in Canada and TNA around the world it's an ALL NEW #TNAiMPACT! pic.twitter.com/TFuU1456uz
