WWE NXT Preview (4/29/25) - Ricky Saints Defends Gold

WWE NXT Preview (4/29/25) – Ricky Saints Defends Gold

This week’s episode of WWE NXT follows up on the action-packed Stand & Deliver fallout. The show has two title matches scheduled, as well as a highly anticipated face-to-face confrontation.

The show emanates from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Here is all you need to know ahead of the April 29 NXT.

WWE NXT Full Card:

  • NXT North American Championship Match: Ricky Saints (c) vs. Lexis King
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) (c) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura
  • ‘The Don’ Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo face-to-face confrontation

Ricky Saints Defends NXT North American Championship

Ricky Saints is now over 25 days into his reign as the NXT North American Champion, and he is set to defend the gold. He does so against former NXT Heritage Cup Champion, Lexis King. This bout was initially supposed to see both championships be defended, but King lost his to the returning Noam Dar on the April 22 NXT.
Saints still has the looming threat of Ethan Page but, for now, he will have to switch his attention to King. This match could set the tone for that specific championship.

Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo Confrontation

The D’Angelo Family imploded at Stand & Deliver, as Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo attacked Tony D’Angelo. This came after weeks of teased tension between the two. Just when we thought things were okay, they turned around quite quickly.

On the April 22 edition of NXT, D’Angelo and Lorenzo managed to stay out of each other’s way. This week, they will finally have a face-to-face confrontation. They might or might not have security, but this will surely be tense.
