AEW Dynamite Adds More to the Card; MJF, Hangman Adam Page & More

AEW Dynamite airs live tonight, coast-to-coast, from Oceanside, California. With so much buzz, AEW has drip-fed match and card announcements this week. The momentum and success of Grand Slam and last week’s Dynamite and Collision were enough to give AEW fans a hint of what was to come. Most of the newer announcements help to add definition to our expectations.

My extended preview for Dynamite can be found here. Below is the updated card with stars indicating the updates.

Announced AEW Dynamite Card:

  • Revolution International Championship Series: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Orange Cassidy
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Harley Cameron
  • Bounty Match: Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Keith
  • *- Trios: TNT Champion, Daniel Garcia and 2.0 vs. The Undisputed Kingdom
  • *- Hangman Adam Page in action.

Other Segments Announced:

  • *-We’ll hear from MJF
  • *-We’ll hear from Prince Nana

Speculation:

Earlier this year, the Undisputed Kingdom said that its goal was to win all the championships. Before their recent attempt to take the AEW Trios championship, it seemed Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong had eyes on Daniel Garcia’s TNT Championship. Part of me wonders if the result or actions of this match will set up Garcia’s next TNT Championship contender, Bay Bay.

With Hangman Page in action and MJF speaking, its signposts further build heading into their Revolution bout. If you are also buzzing about this historic rematch point, an article written by Corey Michaels can be read here.

Prince Nana will speak. Will Nana again try to convince Ricochet to return his prized Embassy robes? This will surely set up a rematch between Swerve Strickland and Ricochet. What’s Ricochet and/or Strickland going to do to up the ante?
