3 Shocking Things We Could See At WWE Crown Jewel

WWE’s top male and female champions will be competing for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship this weekend. The WWE Crown Jewel PLE will also feature the latest in the ongoing The Bloodline storyline.

This leaves us on the verge of some very shocking moments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Here, we bring you 3 shocking things we could see at WWE Crown Jewel.

Will Goldberg or Goldust Decide Who Wins 50-carat Diamonds

Gunther and Cody Rhodes will compete for the men’s WWE Crown Jewel Championship. The title comprises 50 carats of diamonds and plenty of gold, according to Chief Content Office Triple H.

Gunther earned an enemy in Goldberg on the night the new championship was revealed at WWE Bad Blood. Goldberg might show up to cost Gunther the gold.

Talking of gold … The Artist Formally Known As Goldust Dustin Rhodes has reportedly completed his contract with AEW. This makes him free and able to interject himself in his brother Cody’s match – should he wish.

But things aren’t all bad for Gunther. Dustin Rhodes could be looking to reignite a blood feud with his brother and earn one last high-profile match.

The Cody vs. Dustin match at AEW Double or Nothing 2019 shocked the world. This match showed us another side to Dustin Rhodes than his camp Goldust character and helped lengthen his career.

Dustin Rhodes calling time on a Hall of Fame career with a final match against his brother Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship would be more than poetic. There’s no better place to start the journey to that match than in Riyadh.

The Rock In Riyadh?

Nobody had The Rock raising a trademark eyebrow to close WWE Bad Blood on their bingo cards. But that happened. This also confirmed The Rock will play a role in The Bloodline Civil War at some point.

With Roman Reigns & The Usos taking on three of either Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu at WWE Crown Jewel it’s the perfect time for The Rock to show where his allegiances lie. With that match rumored to go on last, it’s a hint that a big shock will take place.

It seems unlikely “The Final Boss” would hop on a big metal bird and fly to Saudi Arabia just to make his presence felt in The Bloodline feud.

But The Rock’s Red One movie launches in Saudi Arabia on Thursday (November 7) so perhaps he’ll kill two birds with one stone and help promote the festive flick.

If The Rock doesn’t show up, expect Sami Zayn to play a massive role in who wins the six-man tag team match.

Tiffy Time

WWE’s deal to bring shows to Saudi Arabia initially resulted in his female stars not being included. But WWE has slowly increased the ladies’ involvement. On Saturday the women will play a pivotal role when the inaugural Women’s WWE Crown Jewel Champion is … crowned.

Tiffany Stratton will be backstage at WWE Crown Jewel with an eye on the Women’s WWE Crown Jewel Championship match.

With the WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan competing in a showdown of champions, there’s never been a better time for Stratton to cash in her guaranteed championship shot.

Stratton has teased cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase multiple times since winning it in July 2024.

Whether Statton goes for her friend Jax’s championship, or Morgan’s is hard to predict. Statton might cash in mid-match and compete for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship.
