Next 2 Champions for Each WWE Title – NXT Edition

Next 2 Champions for Each WWE Title - NXT Edition

2024 has been a great year for WWE NXT, and that has been the case across the board in the entire promotion. Right now, NXT is preparing for its move to the CW, and many things are happening.

There are six titles within NXT currently, and all of them have titleholders. Each title has its own significance, and there are constant title challengers.

Here are the next two champions we predict to hold each title within NXT.

NXT Tag Team Championship – Current Holder: Nathan Frazier & Axiom

Nathan Frazer and Axiom regained the NXT Tag Team Championship at No Mercy, and they are just over two weeks into their second reign. This title, in particular, has a bit of a “hot potato” feel, as it has changed hands more times than others. This title has often been used to elevate tag teams, and the next two title holders could also symbolize that.

The pair are set to defend the titles against A-Town Down Under‘s Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on the October 8 edition of NXT. This will be the second week of NXT‘s premiere on the CW but there is a good chance that Frazer and Axiom will not lose the titles yet.

The next tag team most likely to claim the NXT Tag Team Championship would be that of Cedric Alexander and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis. This is a fairly new team but they have already shown that they have incredible chemistry, and a match between the two teams could easily qualify for the tag team match of the year.

Following that, Out The Mud (OTM) could be the next team to gain hold of the titles. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price‘s stock continues to rise, and they could find themselves being champions by the next Stand & Deliver PLE.

NXT Heritage Cup Championship – Current Holder: Charlie Dempsey

The NXT Heritage Cup Championship is the most unique within the NXT. This is because of the different ruleset that comes with defending this particular title.

The title is currently held by No Quarter Catch Crew‘s Charlie Dempsey, who is in his second reign. In the past, the stable introduced the “Catch Clause” but, with Dempsey seemingly going in it by himself this time around, there are two possible wrestlers who could take the gold.

As part of the Meta-Four stable, Noam Dar has always been able to bring attention to the Heritage Cup. A fourth run with the title would benefit the gold and Dar (and Meta-Four by extension).

The next person who could take that title would be Shawn Spears, who returned to WWE earlier this year. Spears has never won a title within the WWE, and this could be a great one to start for him. To elevate him, he could become the next NXT Heritage Cup titleholder.

NXT Women’s North American Championship – Current Holder: Kelani Jordan

The NXT Women’s North American Championship is the newest title in NXT. The title was established during this year’s Stand & Deliver, and the first champion was crowned at Battleground in June.

Kelani Jordan defeated five other Superstars in a ladder match to claim the gold, and she is now over 100 days into her reign. This secondary championship is an exciting and fresh one but two names could claim it next.

Sol Ruca partook in the ladder match to crown the inaugural champion but she came up short. Jordan and Ruca have already shown incredible chemistry in their matches but, when the pair clash next, it could be expected that Ruca could walk away with the gold.

Another competitor who was in that ladder match and has been showing out since was OTM’s Jaida Parker. She was recently unsuccessful in her challenge for Roxanne Perez‘s NXT Women’s Championship but, when she gets the chance to claim the NXT Women’s North American Championship, she could just pull it off.

NXT North American Championship – Current Holder: Oba Femi

Oba Femi had one of the most meteoric rises in all of NXT. He won the NXT North American Championship upon cashing in his NXT Breakout Tournament contract.

Femi is just over two weeks out from becoming the longest-reigning champion in the title’s lineage, surpassing Wes Lee‘s 269-day reign. That seems well on track to take place but two names could hold the prestigious title next.

One of the most prominent rising stars within NXT could soon be holding gold- Je’Von Evans. He is set to face WWE legend and SmackDown Superstar, Randy Orton, on October 8, and this could be a booster to challenge Femi for the gold.

As for who else could take the title off of Femi, it would probably have to be a main roster Superstar. A major option for this would be The Bloodline‘s special enforcer – Jacob Fatu.

Fatu did have to relinquish the WWE Tag Team Championship to fully focus on being the enforcer but he just would not be able to resist the temptation that is Femi. And he could even successfully capture the title, adding more gold to the Bloodline camp.

NXT Women’s Championship – Current Holder: Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez has been having a dominant second run with the NXT Women’s Championship since winning the title at Stand & Deliver. Now over 160 days into this reign, Perez has managed to clear her path but now, a new player has been introduced.

On October 1, Perez is set to defend her title against the newly-signed Giulia. Whether she is successful on this attempt or at a later point, it is clear that Giulia will become NXT Women’s Champion soon, and she could very well be the person to dethrone Perez.

Considering how much Lola Vice has been involved in the NXT Women’s title picture, it is surprising that she has not been successful in claiming the gold yet. We can expect Vice to remain in the orbit of the title, and she could soon claim the gold.

NXT Championship – Current Holder: Ethan Page

Ethan Page has had quite a run in NXT and, after only joining NXT in May, Page won the Heatwave fatal four-way match to claim the NXT Championship. He has managed to hold onto the gold since then but there are two wrestlers who could give Page a run for his money.

On October 1, Page defends the gold against Trick Williams, with CM Punk serving as the special guest referee. Considering that Williams did not have a long run with the NXT Championship, it can be expected that he will get another crack at it – and this could be soon.

Another name that could soon hold the NXT Championship would be the current NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi. With Femi about to become the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion, it can be expected that he will soon be looking to exchange that for the NXT Championship, and he will go through anyone necessary to get it.
